It seems to update the CPU microcode. Which most likely added full compatibility with the i7 3630qm. Funny how this laptop is still getting bios continual updates after 5 years. Now its boosting to 3,2 GHz which is the max for the 8470p/3630qm combo. Eventually I will be getting a dock station on the cheap and also maybe try to get an eGPU working via EpressCard.
