I am having WD My passport Ultra (1tb) and its not recognized in any USB 3.0 ports, after initial one time! If I try my HDD in any USB 2.0 ports its recognized instantly. The 1tb Green Power drive being the model WD uses in those was simply removed from the non fan cooled enclosure when bought back when 7 was still in beta and now sits in a totally different USB 2.0 enclosure on the second desktop used for testing software as well as build.
