You may like to have this turned on if you want to be able to recover messages that were lost while composing them. It can create a privacy issue though as you may be unaware of the.
Hi, I originally placed my question on Microsoft Community and was recommended to move it to here. I am running office 365 outlook 2016.
I have one copy running on Mac El Capitan, one copy running on bootcamp, one copy running thru Parallels emulation. The bootcamp and one parallels emulation are running on windows 10 and i have a 2013 office 365 Outlook emulated on windows 7. I have two private domains with two emails on each domain.
Each domain is with a different ISP. One domain with two email accounts works and synchs perfectly. The other syncs fine on outlook 2016 for mac but not on the PC version. I can send fine but am generally unable to receive mail. When i sent an incorrect addressed mail from that account i received an error message to the inbox but that is the only message. The same problem exists in the Bootcamp version and the windows 7/outlook 365 13.
It works fine with outlook on my iphone. I have tried running it in safe mode and no difference. Would really appreciate some support on this as not sure what else to do. I have spent time with tech support at the ISP and they cannot see why there is a problem. As it happens on different platforms and different versions it makes it hard to pinpoint. Also as i mentioned the other personal domain and emails to a different isp works fine.
Also if i run a pop.pst account that seems to work OK i also tried creating a second Outlook profile but that did not resolve the issue either Thanks. Hi, As this issue exists on both Outlook 2013 and Outlook 2016, here I'll take Outlook 2013 for example. There are some suggestions: 1.
Please go to File -> Account Settings -> Account Settings -> Double click on the IMAP account -> Click on the 'Test Account Settings' button, check if the test is successful: 2. Please also check the 'Mail to keep offline:' is selected as 'All', thus all emails on the server should be synced to local: 3. In Outlook, FOLDER tab -> IMAP -> IMAP Folders -> Click on 'Query' button. Make sure all the folders are subscribed in Outlook. If no, click on the 'Subscribe' button to subscribe the folders: 4.
Go to SEND / RECEIVE tab -> Send/Receive Groups -> Define Send/Receive Groups -> Double click on 'All Accounts' -> Make sure everything you need is included in the Send/Receive Settings.
