Mac OS X client released. Translation Server opened. The Steam Workshop is a Steam account-based hosting service for videogame user-created content. Depending on the title, new levels, art assets, gameplay modifications, or other content may be published to or installed from. Serious question. I have a macbook pro but dont have any games cause I thought you had to buy them through the Appstore. So can I use steam to buy games or is it only for windows?

Sometime yesterday () around 6 in the morning, i got an email from steam saying someone is trying to log in to my account. The location is from Bejiing. A few hours later, i had another email saying the same thing, but around 9 in the morning. I simply put my account on Lock, mainly because i've not installed it. Malwarebytes. I went to work today and 9 hours later after not using my hotmail account, i've had 10 log in attempts.

This time, its not from the same country, but many others. The ones i got today where 05:52 - Bejiing 09:10 - Bejiing 12:24 - France 12:33 - Canada 13:06 - USA 13:45 - Russia 14:02 - Bejiing 14:13 - France 14:14 - SE (Not sure what country that is) 14:19 - SE again Is anyone else getting this too, i put my account on Lock at the moment and i have no money that ever goes in to Steam at all, i never by games on it so i have no reason to add any bank details to it.

Is there anything i can do like contact steam about it? Any help would be nice. I locked the account, but can't unlock it. When i go on steam support on the actual steam website, when i type in my username and password, i can't log in, it says my password or user name is wrong. However, the steam file you download from the steam website on to your computer where you have access to all your games etc. I can log in with the same username and password.

I was able to change my password and even the security question through the downloaded file profile that you can download from steam or download automatically if you have a game that requires steam and everything it puts on your computer if you know what i mean. I tried again to use steam support and again, my password or username wouldn't work. I then tried the forgotten password down below on the actual website and i got a message saying the email account doesn't exist. Even though when you go on your account settings etc, it has your email address. I even got 3 emails in regarding to the password change.

So one part says my email is connected to my account and it does exists while the other one says it doesn't. I decided to try this out by creating a new account with my username and email address. Believe it or not, i got 2 emails saying 'Account confirmation - response required' and another email 'helpdeck account created' 20-30 minutes after i changed my password and security question. I told my friend and even showed him pictures and he couldn't explain how my account is still there, yet steam says its doesn't exist.

He couldn't even understand how i can have so many emails from steam both account access and new passwords and 20 minutes later, have a new account creation email. It shouldn't be possible. I've tried contacting steam and i can't get anywhere. The page either breaks down and i have to retry or reload or i get another page where it doesn't get me anywhere. I feel like i'm going round and round in circles and i can't even understand or explain how this has happened. I uninstalled and reinstalled the steam file you can download from steam and i can still access my account even though i just mysteriously created a new one with the same username and email address.
