Since then when browsing in Firefox 8.0 and clicking on any links to PDF files, it tells me the reader is already running with a 1016:1016 error code. Tried a couple of proposed fixes like un checking the box for opening the PDF in the browser window, no dice. Can’t remove it, says “This patch package could not be opened.

Verify that the patch package exists adn that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.” Tried reinstalling, tells me it’s already installed.
