I have tried it in webapi mode and also debug mode. I've applied a debugger on login/authenticate method but I am unable to hit the debugger. Any help would be very much appreciated. Very good article. There are a lot of tutorials on the internet explaining about angular js, but this one explains exactly how to setup it on visual studio. Everything works fine the first time when dist folder doesn't exist. Belkin usb wireless adapters. It then gets created and files are being copied. However, on next publish, angular cli creates new dist folder locally (and the names of the bundles are not the same) but it never gets published/updated on web site. It seems it is being skipped. In my publish profile I am using the option true, which uses file checksum instead of date. Is there a way to force publish process to copy/overwrite that folder or delete it prior to publish so my angular application is refreshed on every publish? I was wondering what would be an easy way to disable CORS in Production (I believe we have no need for cross sites request there), EDIT: I now see the need to CORS in production as the client will be calling the API. EDIT #2 - Note that dist%(Filename)%(Extension) needs to be replaced with dist%(RecursiveDir)%(Filename)%(Extension) for assets to be copied (images etc., otherwise folder structure will be flattened out. Also I tested deployment and the target CustomCollectFiles wasn't called so I ended up adding a call into the AfterBuild/Release section which is not ideal, what exactly is supposed to call that target? Use this and it will work: dist%(RecursiveDir)%(Filename)%(Extension) CustomCollectFiles; $(CopyAllFilesToSingleFolderForPackageDependsOn); CustomCollectFiles; $(CopyAllFilesToSingleFolderForMsdeployDependsOn).
